Applications
With Master Lock PulseCode™ technology, powerboats and sailboats have numerous possibilities for securing the vessel. For instance:

  • Main salon doors of any style
  • Deck, bilge, and engine room hatches
  • Interior cabin doors
  • Cabinets and drawers
  • Electronic and fuel flow control panels
  • Hazardous areas needing to be secured
  • Dockside tool and accessory cabinets
PulseCode locks are fully audit capable, recording the date, time, and identity of who entered, or attempted to enter a PulseCode secured door.

PulseCode locks protect against forgery attempts providing over 1000 rolling codes per lock. 'Rolling codes' change with every lock use thereby making it virtually impossible for forgers to anticipate what a PulseCode combination might be. Further, this code is contained within an encrypted 16 digit electronic envelope - with billions of combinations and no possible way to be broken.

The ideal lock is one that cannot be picked, but will open by an authorized person, even after a burglary attempt. Today's locks, electronic or mechanical, usually consist of two main parts: the lock itself - mounted on the inside, and an operating unit (keyboard, card reader, chip, infra-red receiver, brass key etc.) mounted on the outside. This presents issues in picking, jamming, freezing and general misuse (broken keys). Most locks are insecure and can be compromised.

PulseCode technology by Master Lock, available from Marine Services, is immune from these issues, being mounted on the inside, unseen, with no holes or access points for mechanical keys or wires.

A PulseCode lock from Master Lock simply cannot be compromised.
